Q: How do Student Learning Objectives (SLOs) factor into evaluations?

A: If you participate in the ADEPT teacher evaluation model, you MUST participate. Each teacher that is evaluated must have at least one SLO in their evaluation. No one should have more than two. Elementary teachers are recommended to have their SLO be in the area of either math or reading. Others should be in the area they teach. These are intended to measure student growth.
